Alka Saxena is Back on Zee News

Alka Saxena is back on Zee News .According to Zee News sources, Alka Saxena joined the group about two months back. Alka Saxena was in news as she quit MH1 News in July last within a month's time.

Alka Saxena had moved to Zee News in 2001 as Deputy News Editor and was core foundig members of Aaj Tak ( TV Today) .She began her Journalistic career as a print media journalist with Ravivar-Ananda Bazaar Patrika in 1985.

She was  conferred the most coveted "Best Programming Head of Year" at the Trade and Technical awards of the Indian Telly Awards 2003.

Alka Saxena is also the recipient of the most prestigious 'Hindi Academy Sahitykaar Sanmaan' as "Journalist of the Year 2003- 2004'. In an anchoring career without floss and frill, Alka Saxena is known for no-nonsense anchoring and breaking many glass ceilings.  She has also received a scholarship from European Union and Thompson Foundation to produce a documentary on environment was hot allover Europe and India .
