Abhijit Pradhan Launches Superstar Business Solutions

October 1st, 2008

India’s Business Consulting industry today received a boost with the launch of Superstar Business Solutions, a company that will focus singularly on Executive Coaching, a trend that has already found great favour in the West, with most Fortune 100 companies signing up to have key executives coached. Led, by Abhijit Pradhan, the company offers Executive Coaching as a business enabling tool that helps organisations achieve their short and middle term goals and simultaneously develops individual performers as well. The company’s senior management comprises a team of senior business practitioners, who have been trained and certified as Executive Coaches to drive win-win results for organisations of all types.

With over 16 years of experience in the media, marketing and advertising fields, with leading companies such as MiD DAY Multimedia, Times Group, Sony, Contract and Fosters, Pradhan firmly believes that for an organization to meet and exceed its business goals, individuals within the organization must discover meaning and purpose within their work environment in a way that urges them to own, commit and deliver on business goals. Armed with international certifications and training in this field from the Behavioral Coaching Institute, LA, USA and Results Coaching Systems, Sydney and New York (that has partnered with Franklin Covey in India), Mr. Pradhan is a firm believer in the need for such a service in the Indian market.

The concept of Executive Coaching focuses on working one-on-one with an individual, over a period of time and within the context of their regular work-day. A typical coaching engagement consists of a period of 12 sessions spread across a minimum of 3 months. This period is critical to create lasting behavioral change which translates to desirable performance results for both the organisation and the individual. This shift helps create business growth for the organisation and more importantly learning and growth for the individual, which ensures that it is sustainable.

Says Abhijit Pradhan, Chief Explorer, Superstar Business Solutions, “It’s a well acknowledged fact that people are the singular most valuable resource and asset for any company. HR trainings typically motivate in the short term, but much of that learning is lost when the individual returns to his regular work environment. At Superstar Business Solutions, we focus on working one-on-one to create meaning for the individual within the organisational role, as well as short, middle and long term value for the organisation. Through this we hope to uncover true potential and help find the “Superstar” that exists within each individual.”

Superstar Business Solutions coaching techniques do not focus on providing answers, but in assisting individuals discover them. The focus is on “development” rather than “correction”. The advantage of this approach versus conventional directive methods of instruction is that it creates true ownership and sustained performance. The resultant value for the organisation is immense, helping create the base for sustained results and importantly helping to retain key talent which is a glaring issue in today’s choice infiltrated times.

Adds Pradhan, “It obvious the concept has found resonance among senior management at leading organizations from the immensely positive response I’ve received from discussions with potential clients.”
