Mitwa Phool Kamal Ke to go off air

January 14th, 2010

Star Plus and BAG Films' Mitwa Phool Kamal Ke which had completely revamped recently with the introduction of a new family will be going off air sometime this month end!!

An Indya source tells us, "The ratings of Mitwa were not that satisfactory and now in the New Year, the channel is planning to launch some new shows. Though the last airing date has not been finalized, it is heard that the channel will decide on the date in the next few days".

Further, our source told us, “The new Hats Off show tentatively titled Four Sisters will probably be the next fiction launch on Star Plus. There is a possibility of a time shift about the present shows.”

We spoke to Mohit Malhotra aka Birju who confirmed with us, “Yes, it’s true that our show is winding up and the last date of telecast is 29th January. I am fine with what is going to happen and I have heard that the channel is planning to launch new shows.”

Further, he told us, “It was nice working with Star Plus and BAG films who gave me my first serial and from this show I have learnt lot more about acting…”
