New Delhi : The All India Football Federation (AIFF) Monday asked its marketing and broadcasting partners Zee Sports to clear dues amounting to Rs.100 million.

AIFF met Zee Sports officials here and asked them to immediately clear the payments pending since April.

The non-payment of dues have been a problem for the AIFF, which has an annual budget of Rs.230 million.

A top AIFF official told IANS, that the federation is heavily dependent on Zee as they pay the sports body Rs.200 million every year.

"We have asked them to clear the dues immediately and they have assured us that it will be done soon. I am confident that they will honour the contract," the official told IANS on the condition of anonymity.

AIFF has a 10-year contract with Zee Sports till 2014.

The official also said that Zee Sports has agreed to telecast live all the Federation Cup matches in Guwahati.
