BIG Home Video in association with Universal Pictures has launched State of Play, a gripping political thriller. Oscar winner Russell Crowe leads an all-star cast in this blistering thriller about a rising congressman and an investigative journalist embroiled in a case of seemingly unrelated, brutal murders. Congressman Stephen Collins (Ben Affleck) is the rising star of his political party - until his research assistant/mistress is murdered, and buried secrets come tumbling out.
Investigative journalist, Cal McCaffrey (Crowe) has the dubious fortune of both an old friendship with Collins and a ruthless editor, Cameron (Oscar winner Helen Mirren) who assigns him to the story. As Cal and his partner Della (Rachel McAdams) step into a cover-up that threatens to shake the nation’s power structures, they discover one truth - when billions of dollars are at stake, no one’s integrity, love or life is ever safe.
The Blu-ray is priced at 1299; DVD at Rs 599 and the VCD is priced at Rs 299 respectively.
State of Play will be promoted with an activity on the digital networks. A weekend radio promotion on Radio City’s Malini till Midnight from 9pm to 12am, with contests and RJ mentions. An online activation on contests2win.com was also executed.
